Misunderstood Minds - Math Difficulties - PBS website...

Thist site appears as an excellent resource for research based information on how kids learn.. It includes other content areas in addition to math.

while math is not my expertise or dept...I did find..under the last entry "multimedia" a site for Edutopia that is apparently largely sponsored by the George Lucas Education Foundation (I'm a Star Wars geek) and found the site looking at the (re)design of a school in Arizona to be insightful We are finishing a re-model and liked the incluseion of all stakeholders and the use of video. I really loved the Create a Graph site. I was also intrigued by the many articles for educators on children with learning disabilities "Misunderstood Minds" by PBS

I looked at teacher freebies and time savers. There are lesson plans and charts that would be great for remediation and for general teaching.
